David Dillon from Custodian Backoffice is a FCA/FCPA/MBA qualified accountant and author with over 27 years of corporate experience with companies such as P+O and SKILLED, working his way up the corporate ladder to become Commercial Director of PB Towage.

David’s instincts are gained from years of C-Level reporting in big businesses, with accountability to, as well as exposure to, the wisdom of expert directors serving the various boards, thriving against a backdrop of seemingly relentless scrutiny by big 4 auditors.

Having a commercial focus and passion for strategy also gives David a unique perspective in seeking organisational efficiency, reducing waste and excess.

David’s main areas of expertise are in budgeting, forecasting, cash flow and management reporting – being able to anticipate the needs of decision makers and control the flow of information from transaction level through to board reports.
